If you drive around the Wyoming Valley much you know the area has developed a serious roadside litter problem. With that in mind, we’re looking forward to playing our part in keeping Greater Pittston beautiful. It’s time for our Adopt-A-Highway spring cleanup of North Main Street from the Specialist Dale Kridlo Bridge/Fort Jenkins Bridge to the Pittston Junction. Anyone interested in helping who didn’t participate last year, please send us a private message or email so we could provide you the links to the PennDOT Safety Training videos which are required to be viewed prior to participating. Jeans, long sleeves, gloves and comfortable but sturdy shoes are recommended. We’ll be meeting at Jefferson Park at 10:30 am and get on the road by 11:00.
