The Greater Pittston Historical Society is happy to announce our application for a 501c3 non-profit status was approved. Fittingly, we received word in time to announce it at our Meet & Greet Fundraiser (Oct 19). This is GREAT news for our future! This is also beneficial to our supports since donations can now be considered tax-deductible.
We would also like to thank Atty Gerard Mecadon who spent some time with us just before we sent the application out. He made sure we had all the proper paperwork lined up. –Thank you !
